Position: SAP QA (Plan To Make) Lead Consultant Location: Bay Area, CA Duration: 6 Months+ Rate: Open Description: As part of the Global ERP team, this position will work alongside and with a consulting team and fulltime colleagues worldwide to design, configure, document, test, implement, deliver and support SAP Quality Management for the SAP environments in the Global ERP program. This position will have influence in the global design of the SAP implementation and be responsible for designing processes in the Plan To Make (PTM) domain and in alignment with the company’s strategic initiatives The position will focus on the quality management aspects of the 'Plan to Make' processes; below are a few of the business processes areas: · Vendor Qualification · Raw Material Inspection · Finished goods disposition · Batch Management · Sampling and Testing Work with our subject matter experts and stakeholders globally to: - analyze and document current and future business needs -configure and document the system to meet business needs -collaborate cross-functionally with other business teams to ensure business processes operate at their optimum efficiency - assess impacts of scope changes and make recommendations - create test cases for PTM quality management related system applications - design and test PTM quality management process and data integrations to/from legacy applications and SAP - support PTM Quality data conversion efforts -document system configuration, SOPs - support operational readiness and production cutover efforts The position must partner and collaborate with: -business process team members within Planning PTM and other process areas - subject matter experts -external consultants -development team -infrastructure team *Required Skills* · Proficiency in MS Office Suite of products. · Experience in IDS Scheer, HP QC, MS SharePoint, is a strong plus. · Experience in SAP QM. · Be an ambitious self-starter and work well in pressure and ambiguous situations. · Solid analytical skills and a strong vendor/customer focus. · Excellent time management and problem solving skills. Strong oral and written communication skills. · Proven ability to work effectively and collaboratively with internal business/technical teams and external consultants. · Must be capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment. · Ability to travel on average 30%, including international, with the ability to travel extensively as project needs require. *Required Experience* · Experience with SAP systems implementation and/or process transformation.
