Client is looking for a Hadoop Solutions Architect. Using your strong technical skills you will provide the highest level of business and technical consultation to the sales team, prospective customers and existing customers to support the sales goals. *Responsibilities:* · Present and demonstrate solutions to customers on-site, remotely via webinars and at field marketing events · Proficient at the technical installation and product usage · Develop a strong working relationship with the customer's technical staff and demonstrate deep technical knowledge and subject matter expertise · Develop account strategy and account plan with Account Executive and align the technical requirements and the solution design with the customers' business drivers and demonstrate unique value · Run and manage proof of concepts with prospects with the goal of demonstrating value to justify customer acquisition · Work with product marketing to support any ongoing research, as well as the development of case studies and enablement tools · Lead in post-sales implementations, ensuring all solutions are working as anticipated *Desired Skills and Experience* · Pre-sales or similar customer facing role with fortune 1000 type accounts · High level working knowledge on Linux · Hands-on experience with architecting/developing on Hadoop based distributed systems (e.g. MapReduce, Hive, Hbase, Pig, Flume) · Experience architecting, building, maintaining, and performance tuning Enterprise grade Hadoop cluster · Experienced programming in Java and programming Map Reduce · Experience with components in Hadoop eco system (Hive, Pig, Impala, Ambari, Oozie, Sqoop, Zookeeper, Mahout) · Knowledge of cloud computing infrastructure (e.g. Amazon Web Services EC2, Elastic MapReduce) · Experience with non-relational database technologies like MongoDB, Cassandra, Riak, Redis, CouchDB or Neo4J Thanks and Regards, Vijay Ramagiri *ProNix* *Inc* Ph: 732-902-0910 / Fax: 732 909 2000 [email protected] <[email protected]> -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP-UK" group.
