*Please share the profile at [email protected] <[email protected]> * *Position: Full Stack Java Developer* *Location: Los Angeles, CA* *Duration: 6 Months* These are 6 month contract roles with potential for extension and opportunity for CTH (if the consultant is able and interested) Will require a phone and in-person interview (they might consider Skype for EXCEPTIONAL and AMAZING candidates) This client has a very high technical bar so candidates will need to be very strong technically. There are 2 positions- 1 Jr/Mid & 1 Sr role. *Project*- they are replacing their legacy system and building a new CMS internally (this is proprietary to the client and used by their internal employees). They need 2 Full-Stack JAVA Engineers to come in and do content development on the website. They also need these two engineers to pick up work that has already been started (not starting from scratch) and finish the work. The system is built in Java/JavaScript/Spring/Hibernate/MySQL. *Role*- 2 roles- Emphasis on the role is front end (60% in CSS, HTML, JavaScript) and 40% back-end (Java, MySQL). Angular and Node would be a plus, but not a must have. The person in this role will carry out full-cycle software development tasks in an Agile Software Development environment. This position will work closely with QA, and Product Management to architect, design and implement features and capabilities for a very large scale recommendation platform. Focus will be on building components to manage the clients content and deliver the most relevant recommendations to every user on the site. − 7+ years professional hands on software development experience, with SW stack that includes JavaScript, Angular.js, Node.js JQuery and Java − experience with high-volume applications/systems requiring 24/7 uptime − must possess an excellent understanding of service-oriented distributed architecture (SOA) and asynchronous message-based concepts − lead the design and development of consistent, intuitive, and easy to use user interfaces in collaboration with other software development team members − drive the creation of solid front end code from specifications including wire frames/ prototypes and visual design standards − Hands-on experience with XML and JSON − Strong knowledge about Relational databases − Exposure to open source frameworks for distributed computing like Storm, Memcached/Hazelcast, ZeroMQ − Strong experience working in a team and as an individual − Experience leading/mentoring other software engineers − Leading design reviews and architecture discussions − Exemplary communication skills (both written and oral), with experience producing technical and design documentation of complex processes. *Thanks and Regards* *Arvind Nagar* *Email- [email protected] <[email protected]>* *Direct-408-457-9381 Ext-4008 !!
