Duration : 6+Months As part of the Design Verification team, we are looking for a candidate who will be responsibly for execution of system test plans, focusing on the area of Battery. The most critical is the ability to communicate and self drive with minimal supervision. The candidate should be able to self drive into not only finding issues, but root causing and proposing solutions to said issue. Candidate will have to perform hardware(regulators/load switches/buck/boost convertors) limit/timing tests which will require experience in use of DMMs/Scopes/DC analyzers. Ability to write code in C# is also a plus. The testing is broad in scope and includes verification of Battery Component level testing, all the way up to system integration/verification of Surface Tablets to ensure products meet and exceed defined targets necessary for excellent customer experience. The candidate will be performing: 1) Battery Pack Component level testing 2) Battery System level verification 3) Fuel Gauge/Charger IC verification and debugging _________________________________________________________________________________________ ۰BS, MS or PhD in EE required and/or ۰Strong electrical engineering fundamentals. ۰Knowledge of Visual Basic or C/C#. ۰Demonstrates strong design and/or test skills. ۰Demonstrates managing through ambiguity, and technical problem solving skills. ۰Excellent interpersonal, influencing, leadership, verbal and written communication skills required. ۰Hands-on experience in the development of high-volume consumer electronic product is desired. ۰Demonstrated ownership of multiple sub-systems and/or a complete simple product (Simple = Mouse or iPod shuffle) and/or experience launching multiple moderately complex to complex consumer electronic products: Moderately Complex = Smart TV/DVD, Complex = smart phone/Xbox.
