*Role- ETL Developer* *Location- RENTON WA* *Duration- 6-9 months* *Need someone LOCAL also F2F is required.* The ETL Developer will document, maintain and operate the extract, transform and load (ETL) processes in scope that populate related databases from various transaction systems and other data sources. The ETL Developer will provide after-hours support for a limited number of critical extracts. The position reports to the designated Manager or Senior Manager and will maintain effective working relationships with staff in Information Services, as well as with other Providence Health & Services staff, vendors and agents, and others. -Maintain, monitor and operate identified ETL processes that meet the business and technical requirements of the specific project. -Document all processes and support source code control using standard tools and processes. -Understand the source system data that meets the technical and business requirements. -Become familiar with the relevant data sets from transaction systems through hands-on analysis, documentation review, and consultation with application teams. -Ensure that all assets and processes adhere to all quality assurance, security, reliability and usability standards set by the Healthcare Intelligence program. -Resolve production problems through root cause analysis, data investigation, debugging and testing. -Other duties as assigned. *ESSENTIAL POSITION COMPETENCIES AND REQUIREMENTS * *Education:* Bachelor’s degree required. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, or mathematics preferred. *Experience:* 6-8 years of experience or Masters Degree and 3-5 years of experience in ETL, software development, or data management.
