This person will work closely with our business stakeholders and other software and IT team members to develop and enhance reporting capabilities and solutions using Microsoft technologies including SharePoint, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL), and Microsoft SQL Server 2008/2012. Specific duties include: As a SharePoint / SSRS Report Developer will work as a part of the Software organization with developers, business users, DBAs, and IT team members on the following: • Develop reports through Reporting Services (SSRS) from a variety of data sources including Analysis Services Cubes and relational databases and integrate them with SharePoint • Develop solutions using SSRS/SSIS/ETL technologies. • Prepare and review requirements, functional specifications, technical designs and implementation documentation. • Excellent systems analysis, organizational, problem solving, troubleshooting, time management, verbal and written communication skills. • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills a must. Demonstrated experience in working within a multi-disciplinary team in a fast paced, technically challenging environment. Other duties as assigned. Minimum qualifications: • Extensive experience with SharePoint, SQL and MS SQL Server 2008/2012 SSIS/ETL, or in SSRS report design and implementation. • Strong skills in SQL query development. • Should have knowledge of Business Data Connectivity. • Experience with SharePoint Solution development • Excellent systems analysis, organizational, problem solving, troubleshooting, time management, oral and written communication skills. • Demonstrated experience in working within a multi-disciplinary team in a fast paced, technically challenging environment. • Experience with ad-hoc reporting design and tools. Additional skills and experience we’d like to see: • Knowledge of ASP.NET application development • Experience with in JavaScript & SharePoint 2010 Client Object Model. • Experience developing software in an Agile development environment. • Experience with dashboards, guided analytics, or self-defined presentation of data. • Demonstrated history of staying current in field of expertise. ADDITIONAL SKILLSETS: Specific requirements: 1. Candidate must pass BrainBench MS SQL Server 2008 Programming AND .NET Framework 3.5 Fundamentals. Please, provide test scores for the two tests with the submission. Submissions without both test results will not be considered and will be rejected. 2. Delivery of business intelligence solutions and ongoing development and maintenance of existing application developed on SSIS, SSRS, SSAS. 3. Provide input into the logical design and development of data models. 4. Identify ways of improving information delivery, data capture and design and business process through the provision of technical solutions 5. Strong SQL Skills including experience writing views, stored procedures and SQL Server Agent jobs. 6. Practical experience with the Microsoft BI experience including SSRS, SSIS and SSAS. 7. Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server Solutions for BI DW Environments, including SQL Server 2008, DTS, 8. Integration Services (SSIS), Analysis Services (SSAS), Reporting Services, and Multidimensional OLAP Reporting tools, SQL Profiler, BIDS 2008, E/R Studio 9. Experience with Master Data Management architecture, tools and principles a plus. 10. Thorough understanding of and Data Warehouse and ETL. 11. Present a professional, competent, and confident image in dealing with users as well as the BI team and other Teams within IT. 12. Have working understanding of data and its exchange with other systems 13. Create SSIS and SSAS packages 14. Proven strength in Highly SSRS Report generation and familiar with different workarounds. 15. Must be aware of SSRS Subscription and Auto generation of Reports. 16. Working knowledge SharePoint Experience is must 17. Should possess knowledge of Business Data Connectivity. 18.
