*NO H1B* *Duration : 6+* *Location: Philadelphia, PA* *Scope:* Comcast’s TVX organization designs, develops, deployed, and supports the X1 Platform, a cutting-edge, media delivery experience to customers across a national footprint. The media delivery itself is rapidly migrating from traditional cable delivery to STBs via QAM to IP delivery to mobile devices and STBs. The Tools, Research, and Analysis for X1 Integration and Operational Needs (traXion) organization is creating strategies and tools to analyze and troubleshoot the IP delivery from the sources, across Comcast-managed networks, through the home networks of our customers, and finally to their devices. traXion moves quickly to master the constantly changing product and technology landscape of the X1 Platform and the new IP everywhere delivery strategy. Titanium is a triage tool that will help in locating error(s) within an end-to-end IP video stream flow. This tool can tell us errors (if any) and network condition at the time of a particular video streaming occurring real time or in the past. It offers Comcast operation team a tool matching other OTT competitors for the same level of IP video analyzing capability. Titanium with a comprehensive view will benefit Comcast engineers. Tier 1/2 agents will have a simplified version. A customer-facing version is also in consideration. Position is a contract position with long-term opportunities determined by performance and team effectiveness.
