*Data /Business Analyst* Location: Philadelphia, PA
Duration: 6+ months Interview: Phone and Face to Face *Notes from meeting with Manager:* This role is needed as a result of 2 new product/service offerings that the manager is working on. - Need a Senior business analyst for team - business intelligence reporting for team - running models - support strategies for different products - focus is for high speed data - Must have Tableau experience - Use wide range of databases (MySql, Oracle, Hadoop); but not critical that the candidate has all of these databases - Analytical skills - ability to relate business needs to transform them into visualization reports - Problem solving skill - Communication skills - needs to be polished enough to present their position on a set of data and perhaps to senior leadership - Interest and ability to learn new things; needs to be flexible and able to learn quickly The Data Analyst is responsible for analyzing and evaluating business operations of the current program as well as providing recommendations in the design of new products and services. In this role, they will be responsible to help manage existing products and new initiatives, along with tracking their associated matrices, in order to report on product trends and recommendations for optimization and program changes. Additional responsibilities include the creation and readout on executive level reporting using BI tools such as Tableau, Excel, etc.. Ability to work with cross functional teams from Engineering, Web Developers, and various Business units. *Core Responsibilities: * - Assists in all facets of program analysis, program onboarding processes, and operational performance management related to internal and external (third party) partners - Develops and maintains relationships with internal and external parties (including various third party vendors) - Supports analysis and design of existing and new business products/processes as it relates to existing/new products, which span across multiple areas of the organization and impact various stakeholders (i.e. Customer & Sales Operations, Marketing, Training, Finance, Engineering, and Legal) - Helps create and maintain all related materials with new process/product launches including Business Requirements and Systems Requirements - Assesses and provides recommendation on various business impacting improvements, including Call Center intake, speed related to product/process Go to market approach, and etc. - Creates and implements escalation prioritization processes, sets appropriate expectations and levels of support for escalations received. - Develops scalable processes to support and benefit the Company's architecture vision as it relates to various reporting platforms and online marketplace - Performs all business intelligence analysis and data exploitation.
