Reporting to the Manager of Software Development, the Developer is responsible for developing software to meet the design created by the software Architect for supporting both internal and external customer needs. The position is heavily involved throughout the life cycle of software development and is responsible for coding, unit testing, integration testing, supporting QA, helping with release rollout and troubleshooting issues before & after deployments. We expect this person to be creative & vocal about his ideas, very agile, a complete team player, have strong concepts and understanding of Microsoft .NET & SQL Server technologies and use common sense to accomplish goals. Qualification & Experience: •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science is preferred but not required. •At least 7 years of professional experience in developing software applications. •5 years of experience working with Microsoft .NET Technologies like C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server. •3-5 years of web development experience using ASP.NET 3.5/4.0, MVC & WCF. •3-5 years of experience with SQL Server 2008, T-SQL, writing stored procedures, triggers, functions, relational schema design. •3-5 years of experience working in a Team with .NET & SQL Server developers. •Experience with time sensitive & highly optimized REST API & Windows Services. •Solid Understanding of XML/Web services. •Seasoned developer with experience working for a growing, internet company. •Good understanding of web application & windows services architecture and design.
