I have following requirement, please reply me back with profile along with rate expectation *Systems/Software Developer* * Atlanta, GA * *GC-EAD, GC, USC ONLY* *Skype* * 4+ months (right to hire) * Position Description: - The Software Developer is a member our clients Broadcast Production Systems Transition team. This team builds and maintains mission-critical video production systems for television networks. Sample projects include media asset management systems, digital toolkit, digital video archives, and catalog/search systems. - The Software Developer works as a Configuration Management team member, applying practical experience in the key disciplines of software engineering -- not limited to object-oriented design and programming, configuration management, testing, and more -- to deliver incremental but complete pieces of business value to stakeholders. Day to Day - Creating and writing deployment scripts (mainly converting existing systems to deploy through Chef) (20%). - Automation of Amazon Web Services deployments (20%). - Develop software confidence and reliability by creating testing artifacts, deployment packages, deployment scripts, and supporting ongoing development (30%). - Working with multiple development teams to ensure their development environment is ready for use and build packages are created accurately and are ready for promotion in time (10%). - Architectural planning and design (10%). - Agile/Scrum planning and process improvement (10%). Qualifications: - BS in Computer Science, Software or other Engineering or related field or equivalent. - A minimum of three years of software configuration management experience. - Minimum of one year experience with Perl, Python, Shell, or any other scripting language. - Working knowledge of XML/XSL/JSON, HTML, and associated modern technologies. - Have experience implementing Chef/Puppet as an application deployment tool is a plus. Working knowledge of Amazon Web Services is a huge plus. Have experience working with Git, Jenkins/Hudson, and Nagios. - VM experience a plus. - Experience with Java, Scala, Ruby, or a mix of other modern programming languages is a plus. - Experience with Gradle is a plus. - Three or more years of experience deploying systems with enterprise, commercial relational databases, including strong working knowledge of SQL and modern ORM tools.
