Please do let me know if you have any suitable profile for this position *Position:* Dev Ops Lead *Location:* Lauderdale Florida *Duration:* 6+ Months Contract *Phone Hire* *Summary/Objective* The DevOps lead will be responsible for the development and support of applications, interfaces and supporting processes and systems. This role is a hybrid of coding, automation and operational support. *Essential Functions:* Design, implement and own responsive, scalable, and robust cross-platform and cross-browser-compatible web application. In-depth experience with Chrome Developer Tools (or similar) for profiling and debugging front-end web applications. Design and implement testing infrastructures by writing code to validate application deployment, create/code test tools and implement automation concurrent with product development. Support, test, and debug production software and operations. Participate in code/design review processes. Perform Software Quality Assurance, System Engineering and Architecture, in all aspects of the development lifecycle from early design feedback, functional automation, reliability, stress, performance, integration testing, through to supporting production issues. Create, maintain, and execute test plans and test cases. Analyze and report results, track defects, and participate in day to day QA support activities. Report progress and status of assigned tasks to project teams and managers. *Competencies:* Ability to translate business and regulatory requirements into design/development specs. Experience developing tools for and working in a continuous improvement environment. Minimum of 3 years' experience working in teams employing Agile and/or Lean methodologies with the ability to prioritize across multiple tasks/stories/sprints. Core development skill testing with strong debugging skills. Knowledge and experience in the following languages and technologies: Java, SQL, JSON, HTML, JavaScript, Web Services, XML, CSS, Perl, Python, Source Control and Configuration Management tools, UNIX/Linux Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases, preferably MongoDB Experience developing and deploying across multiple platforms - Windows, Linux Strong written and verbal communications skills.
