Please do let me know if you have any suitable profile for this position *Position:* Oracle Data Modeler/Designer *Location:* Atlanta, GA *Duration:* 6+ Months Contract *Phone Hire* *Required:* 8+ years of experience with at least 5+ year of experience in Database design / Architecture / Data Modeling for business object, OLTP, ODS and Data Mart or Data Warehouse utilizing Oracle. Working knowledge of Erwin In depth Working knowledge and experience of Oracle 11g - preferably 12c. Working knowledge and experience of Unix Shell Scripting. Recommend best practices for database design (conceptual, logical, physical). Understand the data requirements, ETL layer and tools familiarity with (data transformation / extraction) *Job Description:* • Work closely with compliance and security architects, to ensure implementation in support of FTI and PII data • Establishes and administers an effective data model/architecture design that can be leveraged by business applications, development resources, and reporting systems to swiftly and reliably meet the continual evolving needs of the organization. • Develops and implements database designs that meet business requirements consistent with business needs and upholds the standards of state data • Create an open design to minimizes the impact of future business constraints • Conduct data design workshops with business stakeholders and application owners to capture the information needs of the business • Create high level business information models and/or conceptual data models understandable by the business • Create entity-relationship diagrams for relational systems and dimensional diagrams for the existing and proposed Database, Data Warehouse, Data Marts and data cubes etc. • Define ownership, obtain approvals, and communicate data models to Technology teams. • Ensure consistent enterprise view and usage of data assets across the system, processes and applications • Provide architectural expertise in data, data warehouse, data source identification and migration within the latest DB technologies • Design the logical data model consisting of entities, attributes and relationships between entities • Validate final logical data model with the business community to ensure accuracy • Define data dictionary ensuring consistency, accuracy and domain validation Additional Preferred Qualifications • Experience creating data models using Information Engineering (IE) methodology. • Experience using the Enterprise Architect or Erwin Data Modeling tool. • Experience coding Structured Query Language (SQL). • Extensive experience designing relational tables for Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, or DBMS. • Experience designing tables NSQL or Big Data platform environments (e.g. HIVE, Cassandra) • Understanding and experience with AWS, GCP or other Cloud Services • JPA (Java Persistence API) and ORM ( Object Relational Mapping) and Hibernate • Experience leading data modeling efforts AND 5 years experience applying data modeling concepts to develop logical and physical data models (entity relationship diagrams (ERDs)) within the last 7 years. • Experience with Canonical Modeling, messaging and data object modeling a plus *Thanks,* *Satyendra * *949-201-4822 * 201* *[email protected]* <[email protected]> *[image: cid:288F3ECB-299B-400D-80D3-20F4925B9DD1] * *18100 Von Karman Avenue, Suite 850, Irvine, 92612* [image: cid:005D9ED9-74E6-476A-998C-47EDA68B8DC8] * DISCLAIMER:* This message and any attachments are solely for the use of the individual or entity to which it is addressed and may contain information that is privileged or confidential.
