Overview:
Client needs a Front End Web Developer to join our Software Architecture
and Engineering Practice. This is an opportunity for a talented and
motivated Front End Web Developer, to work in an experienced IT delivery
team responsible for creating, delivering and maintaining Java based
enterprise-grade IT solutions. The Software Developer participates in the
full software development lifecycle, including active contribution in the
design, coding/unit-testing and implementation.
Skills & Experience:
· Must have 3-5 years of experience as a JavaScript Developer Lead
inclusive of the following skills
o Solid Java/J2EE, JMS, XML, XSLT, XQUERY, XSD, SOAP, REST, Spring
Framework, WSDL development experience
o Web services design and implementation (SOAP and RESTful)
o Exposure to and understanding of development & service design concepts,
model-driven service development, caching, etc.
o Experience in building applications & services for
business/consumer-facing web applications
o Experience in building and reviewing design documentation in the area
of Application & Service Development
· Must have previous experience leading teams of 5-10 people
{mentor, and train team members}
· Must have 3-5+ years of front-end Web Development Skills in the
following areas:
o HTML, HTML5
o CSS, SASS
o Javascript, Ajax, jquery
o Responsive Web Design
o CSS Frameworks (Bootstrap or Foundation)
o Javascript Frameworks (AngularJS, Angular Material, Backbone)
o Version Control (Subversion or similar)
· Working experience on various operating systems/platforms (Unix,
Windows)
· Experience working with Oracle RDBMs
· IBM DataPower experience desirable
· Automotive Experience is desired
· Excellent team building, people and management skills.
· Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail
· Must be self-starter, proactive and willing to learn and grow
with the business.
· Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks
simultaneously.
· Must demonstrate a hands-on approach, attention to detail and
results orientation.
