*Job Description:*
Develops, tests, and documents software programs including operating
systems, applications, and network products. Combines Software Operations
Systems Engineering and Software Applications.
This is a Firmware Engineering position for embedded software development
for printers and AIOs. The candidate should have experience and education
relating to embedded software development for real time systems.
Programming knowledge and skills in C/C++ is required. Knowledge of
electronic hardware and software development processes is desired. The
candidate should also have excellent communication and teamwork skills. The
candidate should posses a minimum of a bachelor's degree in CE, EE, CS or a
degree with related programming experience.

*Main Duties:*
Employee would work as part of a scrum team to develop, maintain and
leverage real-time embedded firmware for a variety of electronic hardware
platforms and print/scan mechanisms.
*Typical Day:*
Attend daily stand-up with scrum team and work on the highest priority work
item for the team (which may include design of a new embedded function,
implementation of a new function, and/or triage and find a fix for issues
found throughout our test organizations). Our team’s primary
responsibility is to control communication between the upper level
print/copy system and the engine code.
*Requirements:*
BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
3+ years C/C++ programming experience.
3+ years working in a Linux programming environment preferred.
Experience in scripting languages a plus (Python)
Good verbal and written communication skills.
