System V& V Engineer 6-9 Months Contract Phone Hire *System Onsite V&V Engineer Job Description* o Should have working knowledge in either of the following: Knowledge of DO–178B, D0–254, ARP 4754 Rev A, and D0–160 o Familiarity with FAA certification processes o Familiar with a Requirement management system o Understanding of electrical engineering concepts (circuit board development and troubleshooting) o Understanding of HW/SW integration testing - Helpful: A knowledge of programming and/or scripting languages o Have an understanding of developing products within the aviation industry o A good understanding of system and HW/SW Integration verification methodologies o A good knowledge of verifying the Minimal Operational Standards (MOPS) o Understanding of ARP 4754A and 4761, DO-254, DO-178B, and DO-160 o Understanding of DOORS, Subversion, Bugzilla, and/or other configuration management and problem tracking tools *System Verification position Responsibilities:* A system testing contact working with a 3rd party test company in India and CA to coordinate V&V workload. Help V&V Lead Engineer to: Help to author a System Functional Test Plan. Help to author a System MOPS Test Plan Help to author a System Inspection Test Plan develop and maintain validation and verification matrices Perform, maintain, organize Validation reviews of SYRD and ARCH requirements Generate validation summaries define/develop system verification tools Develop system verification cases and procedures Develop HW/SW integration verification cases and procedures Execute system and HW/SW integration verification cases and procedures and document results Develop Verification Summary Develop trace reports for development and test Review, report, disposition System Verification defects.
