Please do let me know if you have any suitable profile for this position *Position: *Embedded Software Engineer *Location: *Cranston, RI *Duration: *6+ Months Contract *Phone then F2F* *GC EAD/GC/US Citizen* *Job Description:* The Software Engineer designs and develops embedded software including: performing requirement analysis, software architecture design and optimization, data structure design, control algorithm development, communication protocol development and implementation, and hardware/software integration. • Performs coding, testing, debugging and modifying of complex embedded systems software to meet project objectives and schedules. • Documents and archives software program releases in accordance with company software development process. • Develops functional specifications, software requirements, and software specifications. • Develops test protocols for design verification. • Coordinates and participates in software design reviews and code reviews. • Works closely with other highly skilled engineering professionals to solve cross functional design issues and deliver top quality products to the end user. • Provides technical expertise on embedded software to multiple project teams, sales and marketing, quality services and customers.
