Please do let me know if you have any suitable profile for this position *Position:* Quality Engineering Developer *Duration*: 6+ Months Contract *Location:* Wilmington, DE *Phone Then F2F* As part of Quality Engineering Innovation & Governance group, this role will develop and publish key metrics and reports, maintain governance around QE and technology data, and develop solutions for the advancement of Quality Engineering practices, controls & processes, *Key Job Accountabilities* *Quality Assurance Metrics and Reporting* • Design, develop, maintain and support automation for data integration and presentation, including o Web-based dashboards for metrics reporting o Utilities for importing and integrating heterogeneous data from various internal and external sources • Define, implement, maintain and report metrics for the Quality Assurance department, including: o Quality Assurance key metrics that measure release quality, methodology adherence, and productivity o Key management reports and scorecards that summarize quality trends and identify improvements that will increase the quality of service provided by the organization • Produce and publish management-level presentations o Presentation of Quality Assurance program updates, proposals, metrics trends *Description:* Automation and Tools • Suggest, review, and develop proof of concepts for new technologies to improve data management, reporting, and quality engineering governance • Develop, implement and administrate testing and quality assurance tools • Quality Center Administration – Administrate application for all business units. • Assist in definition, implementation and maintenance of workflow for Technology and additional business units. • Maintain Quality Center controls in alignment with requirements as the system of record for Technology and other business units *Quality Assurance Governance* • Assist in the definition, implementation and governance of Quality Assurance program and methodology • Assist in the definition, implementation, maintenance and education of Test Methodology for the Quality Assurance organization including: o Test phases and test types o Process, procedures and templates used in test execution including Test Strategies, Test Plans, Requirements Mapping, and Test Case Matrices o Process and controls to support methodology • Support internal process of Production Incident Feedback Loop o Deep dive RCA into incidents originated from technology o Process improvements proposed and initiated as deterrent to future related incidents • Ensure adherence to Quality gates and controls for all phases • Support all audits for the Quality Assurance department • Self-audit process for the Quality Assurance department to ensure adherence to Quality Assurance Methodology at a project and release level • Communicate with stakeholders regarding audit findings • Perform the day to day operations of the Governance processes • Key reporting for governance program • Assure the QA Release Quality process is adhered to for all releases • Assist in the definition, implementation and maintenance for Release including Quality Assurance release acceptance criteria, Quality Assurance release risk assessment, and Quality Assurance release approval *Risk and Control Objective* Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Barclays Operational Risk Framework and internal Barclays Policies and Standards. *Basic Qualifications (minimum quantifiable requirements to qualify for this job) Required* • Strong experience in full-stack web development using C#, CSS, and JavaScript (including jQuery) • Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL for query building and database definition • Ability to work with minimal supervision; excellent resource management skills • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Highly organized and detail-oriented • Persistence, resourcefulness, drive and ability to work proactively • Strong interpersonal skills to resolve conflict, make presentations effectively • Must be able to manage multiple priorities and tasks in a dynamic work environment. • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment to meet aggressive goals and high quality standards • Bachelor’s degree, Computer Science preferred *Preferred Qualifications* *Desired* • Experience using Excel for report creation and data analysis • Experience using SSIS for data migration and integration • Experience in PowerPoint for creation of executive level presentations • Experience with Quality Center application administration, project administration, and workflow development.
