*Position: QA Tester* *Duration: 6 month contract* *Location: Englewood, CO* Here’s another one for a QA Tester Can pay 45/hr The CMS and AEM are an absolute must. *Must-have * * -5+ years of experience with Content Management System (CMS) in general, with 3+ years of experience using AEM (Adobe Experience Manager formerly known as Day CQ) -Solid understanding of Web based project test methodology, test environments, bug life cycle, and frequent code release deployment support. -Knowledge of the Web presentation layer, business and data access layers and their interactions. -Solid knowledge of common desktop and mobile browser technology. -Experience working with highly trafficked, scalable Web applications. -Knowledge of reading log file and some experience with Unix commands. -Familiar testing with and have applied current Web client-side technologies – MongoDB, JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5, XML, etc. *Plusses * -Cable/Telecom Industry *Day-2-Day * * The News and Sports QA Tester is responsible for developing and executing formal test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software applications. Involved in test planning, writing test cases/scripts, test case automation and test execution. Works on projects of high complexity within one or more development environments. Works on multiple programs/systems as a project team member. Considered a subject matter expert for a single program/system. -Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results and test status -Collects and analyzes data for software process evaluation and improvements and integrates them into business processes to address the business needs -Documents all problems and assists in their resolution -Delivers quality process training to technical staff and acts as an internal quality consultant to advise or influence business or technical partners -Performs quality audits across the various functions to ensure quality standards, procedures and methodologies are being followed -The Content Test Lead will provide quality assurance testing for new/updated CMS templates and components for multiple CQ projects, using Adobe Experience Manager content management system and supporting technologies. -The candidate will provide testing services for optimal customer experience by ensuring that page content meet requirements from the customers content display and functionality by validating all page elements such as links, videos, images, page layouts and tags. -The candidate is required to work closely with testing consultants to coordinate test efforts, analyze reported bugs and consolidate test status. -He or she will need to communicate on a regular basis with SCRUM team members and provide proactive feedback. -The candidate must be able to think outside the box when proposing solutions to problems. -The candidate must be self-driven and able to work with ambiguous requirements with little or no guidance. -The candidate is required to help identify test automation opportunities. -The candidate must know or be familiar with responsive testing. -The candidate is required to do hands-on authoring and validating on publishers and dispatchers in AEM to assist with bug-fixes during the testing phase and to provide support for product launches.
