Job Description :
·
- Perform Teradata DBMS performance monitoring, optimization, and tuning
·
- Perform Teradata Hadoop/Hortonworks performance monitoring,
optimization, and tuning
·
- Document and validate user system requirements Leverage industry best
practices and apply business and/or strategy recommendations and emerging
data warehouse technology
·
- Assist in the identification and resolution of problems encountered by
the users of the system, analysis and implementation of enhancements, and
operation and maintenance of data warehouses
·
- Apply all phases of systems analysis
·
- Perform business systems analysis, data modeling, data warehouse, and
data mart specification Assist in developing, documenting, and executing
plans as part of change/release management --- Assist in planning and
implementing data integration processes for multiple source systems
·
- Document resolutions/analyses according to support procedures
·
- Choose appropriate computing products and methods to ensure
requirements are met for security, problem management,
capacity/performance
management and operational management Work with Teradata for enhancements
and issues not resolved in-house
·
- Provide administration and integration management for Windows and
Linux systems
