Sr. Performance Test Engineer Phoenix AZ EAD GC/ GC OR USC only Phone Hire 6 Months Contract The position will be 50% performance testing, and 50% services/API/Selenium testing. Experience using automated test tools for Functional and/or Performance, Stability, Scalability, and Reliability testing using BlazeMeter, JMeter, SoapUI, etc Min 2 years jMeter experience Min 2 years SQL experience and an ability to write intermediate to complex SQL code Min 1 year experience testing web services, SOAP services, and APIs using SoapUI or similar tool(s) Groovy scripting language automating SoapUI tests a big plus. C# or Java scripting using open source tools to automate Services / API testing a a big plus. Min 1 year automating functional tests using Selenium. C# experience a huge plus. JavaScript experience a big plus. Tenacity to take each performance issue as far as possible, often to the point of being able to suggest application fixes. Possess in-depth knowledge of multiple performance tools (Load Runner / jMeter / / NeoLoad, etc.) , web testing, frameworks and infrastructure with a major focus on jMeter, Expertise in performance engineering, tuning and testing applications. Provides architecture and application design that ensures scalability and minimizes performance issues. Responsible for capacity estimation/planning, modeling, monitoring, analyzing and recommending solutions to performance problems with enterprise business applications. Plan and manage deliverables for: performance testing including diagnostics, capacity planning, performance architecture design, performance tuning, and performance monitoring. Conduct system performance and stress testing, analyze test results and suggest action plans. Excellent English language verbal and written skills.
