Please do let me know if you have any suitable profile for this position *Position:* Business Analyst *Location: *Bridgewater, NJ *Duration: *6+ Months Contract *Phone Hire* *GC EAD/GC/US Citizen* *OVERVIEW: * Gain in-depth knowledge of client service lines in order to develop, analyze and critically evaluate requirements, reconcile conflicts, manage requirements backlog, provide solutions and aid in driving and envisioning the development efforts for client software & devices. *DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:* 1. Lead Projects/ Drive Projects focused on developing software for clinical trials and devices in an R& D environment using the Agile methodology 2. Gain in-depth Subject Matter Expertise with product service lines and the specific software applications, web portal and devices used in support of the service lines. 3. Extensive experience in requirement elicitation and analysis of business, functional, non-functional and user requirements. Ability to communicate and coordinate with diverse departments. 4. Critically evaluate requirements gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level requirements into details, abstract up from low-level requirements to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs. Must have a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into technical system requirements. 5. Provide quantitative and qualitative data analysis and reporting of patterns, insights and trends to decision-makers. Perform gap analysis and feasibility analysis. 6. Analyze business processes and identify potential process improvements. 7. Work extensively with Product Managers, Users, Development Managers, Architects, Developers in providing solutions, detailing features being envisioned, provide insight and drive the development effort. 8. Proficient in full life cycle development of complex software applications, Web portals and/or devices using Agile –Scrum, or other methodologies such as RAD, JAD, RUP or Waterfall. 9. Must demonstrate strong analytical, project management and leadership skills and have the ability to successfully engage in multiple initiatives/releases simultaneously. 10. Must have a thorough understanding of Change Control process and the ability to manage/review and assist in the prioritizing of backlog requirements/enhancements and defects. 11. Must have excellent communication and technical writing skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, users, product managers, developers, architects, testers, etc. 12. Proficient in Process Modeling using Use Cases, Workflow, Sequence, Activity, Dataflow, Process flow and UML diagrams 13. Proficient in creating UI designs using wire frames, mockups, storyboards. 14. Relational Database experience such as with Oracle or SQL Server. Experience in Data Analysis, Data Modeling, Data Mapping using SQL and UML diagrams. 15. Experience with Business Intelligence reporting software tools. Knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts. 16. Author detailed System Requirements Specifications used for envisioning the development effort. 17. Author detailed Functional Specification documents by detailing the functional, user interface and data input/output requirements. 18. Facilitate in the writing of test plans, test scripts and with scripted or unscripted (smoke) testing. 19. Provide ongoing support of projects/releases with assistance to operational acceptance/readiness and training needs. 20. Assist Product Management, Project Lead, Development Managers in creating project schedules, defining release scope and content. 21. Create and maintain traceability matrices correlating the system requirements to functional requirements and then to test cases. 22. Assist in the investigation of product issues raised by users. 23. Adhere to following Development SOPs and SWIs. 24. Adhere to Quality Assurance procedures for client technical documentation. 25.
