WebSphere Production Support Programmer Analyst
J2EE/WebSphere Programmer Analyst with a proven track record and experience
in production support, design and development of large-scale systems. Work
with a team of service oriented professionals primarily rendering production
support of J2EE / WebSphere based applications. Focus is on delivery of
solutions that meet customer expectations and requirements in a 7x24
environment. Solutions being developed will be enterprise scale, maintainable,
manageable and extensible utilizing the J2EE framework embodied in IBM's
WebSphere Application Server base product suite. These solutions will adhere to
a strictly enforced set of standards and processes designed to provide the
client the highest possible quality product.
Required Skills:
· Experience taking a project through the full SDLC from design
through development and testing, to implementation, transition and support.
· Fully understand and be able to implement object oriented designs
· Java
· J2EE
· Distributed processing (CORBA, WS, Proprietary port communication)
· JDBC, Connection pooling, stored procedures
· Rational Application Developer
· WebSphere Integration Developer
· WebSphere Portal (JSR-168/JSF/AJAX)
· WebSphere Process Server (Workflow management, Human tasks, etc.)
· J2EE development with Rational tools for deployment to WebSphere
o Session and Entity EJB development with RAD/RSA
o Web Service development with RAD/RSA
o Hands-on Web Services experience (i.e. SOAP, WSDL)
· XML (DTD, XSD, etc.)
· UML (class, sequence, deployment diagrams, etc.)
· RDBMS development with DB2.
· JUnit and integration testing experience
· WebSphere Application Server (experience deploying applications and
basic administration tasks)
· Business Process Management techniques
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Initiative with strong analytical and problem solving skills
· Ability to work in a distributed team environment and assist other
developers
Preferred (not required):
· Oracle
· JMS / MQ
· Rational Software Architect (RAD/RSA)
· Exposure to/experience with mainframe systems
· DB2 IBM Content Management
College degree in an appropriate field (i.e., Computer
Science/Engineering/Mathematics/MIS
