Please review the following job description and send me a latest resume of the consultant who matches this position. *Need Lead Data Architect for on Bank Data Warehouse project* *Location: Richmond, VA* *Duration: 12 Months* *Timeframe: 1/5/2009-12/31/2009* *Skills:* 5+ Years Experience with: Database Technologies (SQL Server, Teradata, Oracle, DB2) Data Movement Tools (Ab Initio, SQL Server Integration Services) Data Modeling Tools (ErWin, ER Studio) Business Intelligence Tools (Business Objects, SAS, MicroStrategy, Brio) Network Infrastructure, Design and Security Data Modeling Concepts – 3NF and Dimensional *Responsibilities:** *Lead Architect Resource on Bank Data Warehouse project: - Provide architectural direction for building out/extending Bank Data Warehouse - Implementation of Business Intelligence leveraging Business Objects to integrate with Bank Data Warehouse. - Provide architectural direction and guidance on presentation layer build-out, data model reviews/approval, integration of data sets, user data management and metadata management. Other project work: - Provide Architecture support on Bank Projects with specific focus on data architecture needs. - Develop the application architecture and blueprints which reflect business logic of the Bank. - Develop/produce necessary architecture and associated documents for assigned projects and present the architectures in the appropriate Architectural Overview sessions. - Assess projects for level of architectural needs and review/approve design documents to ensure that they align with Enterprise and Bank standards. - Conduct reviews and analysis of organizational needs and goals for the development and implementation of applications. - Participate in mapping the applications architecture to the chosen technology platform. - Define application components, platforms, interfaces, and development tools. - Provide technical guidance to application development teams. Consult on integration and conversion activities. Recommend redesign or redevelopment. Select technologies to provide long-term compatibility and flexibility. - Conduct reviews and analysis of organizational needs and goals for the development and implementation of applications. - Apply understanding of current ADM trends to provide advice on the acquisition and development of business solutions. - Work with designers and architects across Capital One to ensure alignment with the Enterprise and Bank application architecture. - Provide application consulting support to key projects and initiatives within Capital One Bank. - Provide guidance on aligning Bank concepts with our Enterprise Conceptual Data Model (ECDM). - Help develop unified Bank Divisional Logical Data Model that incorporates key entities and attributes from Bank and aligns with the ECDM.
