Consultant will perform the following DBA tasks: Oracle upgrades, performance tuning, script writing, performing backups/recovery, database monitoring, SQL writing, providing 24 x 7 oncall production support, providing developers with database administration support during development lifecycle. Project Tasks/Activities: ORACLE upgrades, Script-writing, performing backups/recovery, database monitoring, SQL and performance tuning at all levels, oncall production support (24x7), database and object design. Deliverables: Will be defined based on specific database assignments Quality/Acceptance Criteria: Management or appropriate team lead will review and approve DBAs work. Status Reporting: Consultant will provide verbal and written status of their assigned tasks to Management. KEY SKILLS: Oracle 10.2 with database performance tuning experience. Support in production and non-production environments.
