Will participate in projects and support activities. Upgrade project includes upgrading to Oracle 10g from 8i, including data migration.** * * *Primary Responsibility:* Ø DBA for dev, test, prod environment Ø Rebuilding DBs Ø Support data migration tasks for the upgrade project Ø Review for deliverables to ensure quality (design walk-through, etc.) and adherence standards/regulatory requirements. * * *Areas of Technical knowledge:* Ø Oracle DBs (10g and 8i) Ø UNIX environnent (Solaris 8, 9, 10) Ø Windows 2003 Enterprise Ø Application Clustering Ø TOAD Ø SQL and SQL tuning skills * * *Qualifications: * Ø At least 5 years of experience as Oracle DBA Ø Go getter who is able to gather and collate information to formulate and implement a strategy.
