Need Local to Boston, MA In-Person is Required WebSphere Admin Location: Boston, MA Duration: 6 Months Job Description: * Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience * Minimum of 5 years' related experience in System/Web technology administration and practice preferably in Financial Services. * Experience should include technical production and implementation infrastructure support background. (Linux Admin, web server Admin) * Technical competence in the following Web environments: IBM Websphere and Portal, Apache, IIS. * A solid understanding of Java classes, foundations and framework strongly preferred. * Knowledge of best practices in Web systems including security, performance, standards, procedures, controls, and Web technical design and architecture. * Significant experience in establishing, running and supporting a highly available, redundant server environment. * Must have advanced problem solving skills; good verbal and written communication skills; Ability to work independently as well as with team members to solve problems. * Ability to think strategically and apply strategy to the MFS Web environment; Solid understanding of Systems Development Life Cycle models. * Previous application software development experience in Java environment would be useful. But most of the work is on the server administration side. * An active participant and contributor for leading implementation and troubleshooting efforts and aiding in design efforts.
