Need Local to Redmond, WA SQL Sever Developer 6+ months Redmond, WA Position Description: Design, develop, and guide other (onshore/offshore) developers/team members. Analyze requirements for new features and systems Demonstrated experience with SQL Analysis & Reporting services Production, release planning and support Essential Functions: 1. Accurately, and effectively analyze, design, code and implement solutions. Work with dev team, prioritize issues. Participate and/or lead functional specification, design, code, bug triage and process reviews . Interact with other teams (stakeholders, operations, etc.). Provide day to day technical/operational support. 2. Write documentation on technical architectures/features. Required Technical skills: At least 5 years of development experience with SQL Analysis Services, SQL Reporting Services, Building and maintaining Cubes Web development with .NET 2.0 and above, C# , AJAX Database development skills - the ability to write complex queries and stored procedures, etc. IIS+IIS Development Knowledge of clustering - both Operating System cluster and SQL cluster Other ideal qualities: Migration experience with VSTF Knowledge of .NET 3.0 and above Experience with SQL 2008 Experience with Visual Studio 2008 Strong written and oral communication skills to effectively represent technical issues with internal and external teams Self-motivated and driven to deliver high quality solutions Broad technical background Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or computing related discipline (or equivalent).
