Please let me know if you have any questions or qualified resources. *SOA Architect* *Roles and Responsibilities: * Provide SOA leadership and direction in migrating a large (6.5 million LOC) CORBA-based software product (developed in C, C++) to a SOA platform Describe how current product will be migrated to SOA Target architecture SOA-roadmap - how does the product look like in 1, 2, and 3 years? Requirements and constraints to get to the target state Migration issues Standards and technology platforms SOA deployment requirements Data requirements Operational and support characteristics Interface with Business Analysts, understand requirements and translate that into SOA roadmap. Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools for inclusion in the platform. Work with both onshore and offshore developers to complete the migration of the product. *Experience: * Experience migrating a legacy software product (written in a language other than Java) to a SOA platform Must have done at least two major projects, preferably one migrating a C/C++-based legacy product to a SOA platform. Understanding of architectural principles and challenges in migrating a legacy software to a SOA platform. Experience with standards used in SOA infrastructure. Experience with open source and vendor-specific products that fit into a SOA platform. ESB, SOA-governance, BPEL, WS-RM, WS-Addressing, WS-security, WS-policy. Experience with SOA design patterns, frameworks, components, best practices. Experience building large distributed systems and applications, with emphasis on web services.
