This mainframe application is in-turn interfaced to SAP. Within SAP, manufacturing is currently executed via the SAP repetitive manufacturing capability. Client will be transitioning to the PP-PI (production planning for process industries) methodology. Client requires assistance with the following design components: · Product costing related to PP-PI. · P-PI BOMs and master recipes. · Yield, production, and costing reporting in a PP-PI environment. · Process order settlement design and configuration. · Period-end close processes related to PP-PI. The scope of this effort is as follows: · Review the already documented as-is and to-be manufacturing processes and business requirements. · Perform a conceptual design review in which solutions are blueprinted for all of the business requirements. · Direct and coordinate all FICO and PP-PI configuration required. · Direct and coordinate the composition of functional design specification documents for any gaps requiring custom development efforts. · Direct and coordinate the documentation of all required test scenarios and scripting documents. · Direct, coordinate, and participate in the composition of comprehensive design and training documentation. *WORKING RELATIONSHIPS**:* This position will work as a part of a team alongside a dedicated IT FICO analyst and representatives from cost accounting, product management and production planning, manufacturing management, and manufacturing operations. The IT FICO analyst has approximately four years of SAP CO experience but knowledge only of CO with regards to repetitive manufacturing and internal / maintenance order accounting. This position will be expected to continuously transfer knowledge to Client IT resources and will coordinate closely with Client IT and project management personnel. * * *requirements:* - Must have expertise in and experience with SAP product costing (CO). Multiple full life-cycle implementations in manufacturing environments preferred. - Must have expertise in and experience with SAP manufacturing (PP/PI).
