Business ANALYSTS) Location: Seattle, WA – Locals preferred Rate cap: $45-50 Duration: 6-12+ months *Business Intelligence and Business Objects is key. They use Business Objects (not Cognos) as their reporting tool and the BA will be using Business Objects and extracting reports. They also use Crystal Reports there. One thing that would set one candidate apart from another is if they have some SAP BW experience because a lot of data is stored in SAP BW and the BA will get involved in extracting data from the SAP systems also. SAP is not a qualifying factor but if you can find me an 8+ year BA with solid BA skills on Datawarehouse projects involved in Business Intelligence and Star and Snowflake schemas who can extract reports and do some data modeling that would be perfect! Some experience working with SAP BW is a NICE TO HAVE BUT NOT REQUIRED!* CANDIDATES MUST HAVE ALL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED. LOCAL CANDIDATES PREFERRED, WILL NOT PAY FOR TRAVEL OR RELOCATION. Business Analyst in Business Intelligence (BI) POSITION PURPOSE: The Business Analyst/Business Intelligence provides analysis and requirements gathering for the development of systems in the Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse arena. This provides the client with accurate data for project estimation, business impact analysis, and needs definition. This person works very closely with development team and end user community. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing data gathering • Documentation of requirements • Requirements gathering/interpretation of technical requirements • Use Case development • Support multiple projects in parallel • Partner with Business partners through the entire lifecycle of the project OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Regular, predictable attendance. • Other duties as assigned.
