Ability to define short term and long term automation strategy. Advanced level of experience & knowledge with HP/Mercury*s Winrunner product (TSL Language) and Quick Test Pro (VB Script). Proven leadership skills and prior experience in leading small team of 5-7 testers/developers. Excellent programming/scripting skills for writing test scripts (Unix shell, SQL, XML, Perl, Python, awk, etc.) and writing test programs (e.g. for APIs) Experience in designing and building in house automation frameworks for testing middle tier and backend applications is a must. Well seasoned in GUI automation testing. Familiarity with software build procedures, configuration management & defect tracking.
