We have an immediate need for a Customer Support Engineer. DUTIES
*Respond to support inquires via phone, web and email. *Reproduce customer issues in support lab. *Ensure issues are tracked, escalated, and resolved. *Test new features and fixes to customer reported bugs. *Assist with answering pre-sales inquiries. *Provide occasional phone, WebEx, and/or in person training to customers. QUALIFICATIONS *BS/BA degree or seven years equivelent experience required. *System administration experience with MS Windows Server and SQL Server. *Familiarity with Active Directory and LDAP. *Windows XP and Vista OS knowledge. *Experience in installing enterprise server software and performing operational tests. *Networking experience and knowledge of HTTP, TCP/IP, web servers, and VPN. *Excellent verbal, writing, phone and related customer service skills. *Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously. This position offers potential for occasional telecommuting, some flexibility with hours and could become permanent for the right person.
