*Title: Project Manager* Location: Chattanooga, TN – local candidates only please. Duration: 1 year PMP Certification highly desired. Position Summary: Plans, directs, and coordinates the activities of information technology projects to ensure that goals or objectives of projects are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters. Has overall responsibility for planning, directing, and coordinating activities pertaining to technology projects. Ensures that project goals are accomplished and in line with business objectives. Is responsible for managing the team that develops and carries out IT projects. Monitors project activities; ensuring the currency, quality, and integrity of the information; and providing consistency in content look and feel across the organization. The individual occupying this position works with company customers, staff, IT colleagues, and other stakeholders to identify customer requirements, assess impacts to other data and systems, consider available technologies, compare costs and benefits, develop project cost estimates, and recommend solutions. The individual will be responsible to ensure that project results meet customer expectations and adhere to internal standards and strategies.
