I'm looking for a technical Business Analyst with heavy SQL and Corporate
Actions experience.***

*Business Analyst Responsibilities - *

   - Document the business requirements for Corporate Actions Processing.
   Document will include detailed system and user workflow.
   - Review requirements with all groups to obtain consensus and approvals.
   - Come up to speed with Corporate Action processing System.
   - Create detailed test plans and cases for the testing of the new
   platform and the downstream processing.
   - Coordinate test related activities with all  ISD groups and business.
   - Perform data validation tasks using database tools such as SQL and
   Access queries.
   - Provide consulting help to development team during the technical design
   and development .
   - Perform test execution and document any issues, risks or concerns.
   - Communicate all test related issues and risks to users, all ISD team
   members as well as central FOPi QA team.
   - Work closely with all groups to coordinate test activities and ensure
   all groups are on the same page with respect to test expectations (e.g.,
   test schedule, desired results, and dependencies).
   - Log and maintain all test issues and application bugs within team
   tracker tool.
   - Create User Job Aids if needed.
   - Perform User training and cross team demos/walkthroughs.
   - Transfer knowledge to Trading Systems Support Team.
   - Support code turnovers in production.

This position will be part of the Investment Systems team. The position will
be located in Boston/Andover and some travel will be required to other
locations (Viz. Boston, Andover and Franklin).



Strong leadership, process oriented, organizational, interpersonal and
communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced,
deadline-oriented environment are a must.



*Required Background:*

   - Experience with Corporate action processing in the context of
   investment systems is essential.
   - Ability to document and clearly articulate business concepts, business
   requirements, end user work flows and functional design.
   - Ability to identify, document and communicate issues or risks.
   - Test Planning and Test Execution experience.
