*Description:* Looking for someone with AS400 knowledge and ERP knowledge. The ERP system the candidates will work with needs to have an order processing, shipping, and invoicing function. Additionally, if a candidate has MIMIX or Data Thread experience it would be great. Some important testing that the candidate needs to have knowledge of is white box and manual testing. The Software Validation Consultant is needed to test and document for the regulated system, JD Edwards. The main focus of this role will be on the warrantees, service, inventory and shipping pieces of JD Edwards,not the financial application. The ideal Validation Consultant does not need to know JD Edwards, however it is a plus.They should have the ability to understand writing test cases and reviewing scripts for content. Additionally they will need to collect IQ, OQ documentation. The Validation Consultant needs to have knowledge of AS400 and an ERP system that has a shipping and invoicing function. The ability to perform white box testing and manual testing is important and if the candidate has experience with MIMIX or Data Thread it is a plus. Excellent follow up and team working skills are necessary, as they will be required to manage the flow of information and completion of tasks from other individuals in the group in order to execute the testing on time. They will need to write the Quality Summary reports for each area that is tested and have enough knowledge of validation to be able to assist while testing is occurring and ask cognizant review all validation documentation for content and consistent formatting. The skills and experience required to perform this position well include: Good organization 5 years + Validation Experience including white box and manual testing Experience with AS400 Experience with MIMIX and Data Thread is a plus Good communication Professional demeanor to work in a corporate setting Experience with creating Validation documentation, IQ, OQ, and Quality summary reports.
