*Location: Harrisburg, PA*
*Duration: 6+ Months*
*Experience level: Not less than 10+ Years*
*Rate: $45- 50/hr Max*
*REQUIRED SKILLS / RESPONSIBILITIES:*
• Create and maintain all databases & application servers required for
development, testing, training and production
• Perform ongoing tuning of the database instances
• Configure, tune and optimize application servers, databases, applications
and Unix platforms
• Evaluate Oracle new releases/patches and its tools and ensure that the
site is running the products that are most appropriate
• Install new versions of the Oracle RDBMS and migrate all databases
• Backup/Recover database files and objects
• Implement security for all of the databases
• Provide technical support to application development team
• Administer all database objects and users
• Troubleshoot any problem with application, database, application server
and any development tools
• Create Unix scripts to process batch jobs
• Analyze database statistics report from various tools (e.g.,
utlbstat/utlestat and statspack) and reports
