seeking contractor to provide computer programming services to identify and
develop bug fixes and program enhancements to existing Grants Information
Center (GIC) application. The GIC is a web based system for reporting on
grant compliance for non-governmental organizations. The selected candidate
will work closely with the Technical Architect as well as the business owner
to plan, design and build user friendly, web based screens to meet business
needs. The existing application requires extensive modifications which may
include revising the data schema as well as reengineering the business
process. The current application resides within a *Web Sphere
environment*and is developed is
*Java with SAS* reporting. Parts or all of the enhancements may be moved to
a .net environment with a *SQL Server backend*. Enhancements and
requirements will be documented and the contractor will work with the
Technical Architect to determine the optimal solution for long range
sustainability.



Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:

Required:

Extensive programming skills including:

*• JSP/Java programming with Struts and java beans*

*• Javascript and Asp.net on IIS. *

*• Eclipse IDE. Visual Studio 2005. SQL coding.*

*• SQL Server. *

*• SAS reporting.*

Excellent communication skills both (oral and written)

User and Technical documentation experience
