*Job Title: Technical Architect** Location: Greenville,SC Duration: 6 months Rate: $45/hr CTC* This is an Architect role in the B2B / Web Portal space. The candidate MUST HAVE Lead experience and the ability to set direction for projects, lead other technical staff and ensure projects meet delivery deadlines. Must have outstanding communication skills to communicate with senior management. *Mission and responsibilities:* - Ability to create a shared view of architecture work tasks and deliverables. - Works with architects and project managers to define work tasks, deliverables and set priorities and milestones. - Tracks progress according to plan and updates plan and milestones accordingly. Works with Methods & Tools to interpret and execute FP methodology - Follows the market evolutions - Defines the IT technical architecture referential - Defines technical strategy and roadmap to achieve alignment with IS architecture and with Business objectives when they have a direct impact on infrastructure - Provides detailed specifications for selecting and organizing components to implement and maintain IT solutions - Ensures that IS/IT projects and existing assets comply with IT architecture prescriptions - Guarantee viability and suitability of the existing IT architecture and its continuing development (perennial aspect) - Guarantee that IT architecture is pertinent and consistent with IS architecture, IS/IT strategy and market trends - Optimize the cost effectiveness of the IT assets *Main Deliverables:* - Technical architecture referential documentation. - Strategic technical orientation communicated - Software Architecture Requirements (SAR) - Software Architecture Document (SAD) - Audit reports and associated action plans *Skills:* - Technical Project Management - Functional Analysis, Design - Estimation Techniques (Cocomo FP) - SDLC Methodology execution (Waterfall, 4P, RUP) - Configuration Management Processes, Tools and best practices (ClearCase, CVS, SubVersion) - Authentication and Authorization / (User and ID Management) - ITIMS, Tivoli and LDAP - Portal Architecture, Web Server Architecture -- Regards Abdul G.
