Position: *Identity Management Consultant* Location: *Herndon**, VA*** Duration: *6 to 7 months, extendable* *Job Description:* - The candidate will be responsible for the continued design and implementation of an identity management solution. - This solution will provide SSO (Single Sign On) capabilities to 3rd party applications through the use of SAML2. - The candidate will be responsible for the "on-boarding" of new 3rd party constituents. - The on-boarding requirements include but are not limited to the following tasks; creation of a certification process, executing the certification process, setup and documentation of Trust relationships, modification of HTML, Java Script and XML * * *Key qualifying skills:* - 8 to 10 years of relevant work experience - Candidate must have strong working knowledge of SAML2, at least one Identity Provider application such as Novell Access Manager, Shibboleth or any other similar solution. - Should be able to design and develop applications in Java and JavaScript using the following technologies: Web Services, XML, EJB, JMS, JAVA, RMI, JDBC and JNDI. * * *Education:* - Undergraduate or graduate degree in Comp Sc/Engg, EE, Telecom, or equivalent combination of certifications and relevant work experience * * *Highly desirable:* - Prior experience working for a telecommunication, wireless or cable industry. * * *Soft skills:* - Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast paced, dynamic environment. - Excellent oral and written skills in English and good interpersonal skills. - Must have excellent time management skills and a self-starter, who can hit the ground running.
