Role- Data Analyst Location- Plano, TX, Duration- 6 months Rate- Open Job Description Under general supervision, collects, evaluates, and prepares research and/or other complex statistical data for a specific unit of the institution. Prepares statistical and narrative reports and recommendations, and participates in the analysis and interpretation of data as appropriate. Develops, maintains, and ensures quality control of databases and may assist in development and implementation of measurement systems. 4 - 6 years of experience. The Data Management Organization is a rapidly growing team within PepsiCo, responsible for data quality and governance in support of both the SAP implementation and global data warehousing. The Enterprise Data Integration team is responsible for requirements gathering, design support, data content analysis and issue resolution within PepsiCo’s SAP implementation. Position provides opportunity to support leading-edge process and system design across all PepsiCo divisions. GTM area includes customer and related master data elements that support the Order To Cash processes. Analyst in support of GTM data analysis for profiling and content management. - Identifies data content and opportunities in support of the data cleansing and conversion/interfaces requirements. - Partner with process teams to develop FD (functional designs) and FMD (field mapping documents) . - Manage key tasks in the project methodology as it relates to data management and governance. - Resolve highly complex data related problems and tasks including proactively analyzing data to increase quality and accuracy. - Interact and develop effective partnerships with other team members, business customers and other layers within the business to recommend, design, test, and implement data related system and process improvements. - Demonstrate “out of the box” thinking when confronted with new ideas or change; identify opportunities, analyze issues, design solutions and integrate best practices for areas of expertise. Skill Sets: Required: Visio Access Excel Required Qualifications Qualifying Question: Do you have in-depth knowledge/experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG)? Where used? Requirements: - Bachelors Degree in Business, Information Technology or Min 5 years related business experience. - Some Experience in SAP GTM (Customer Data management) in ECC preferred; plus if experience in Direct-Store-Delivery (DSD) model within SAP. - 2 to 3 years of consulting experience desirable, including experience in process re-engineering, data analysis, requirements gathering and system design and documentation, Technical aptitude to quickly learn support tools utilized for delivery of data cleansing, data verification and data governance requirements. - In-depth understanding of PepsiCo or other Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) companies. - Strong interpersonal skills, including excellent oral, written and listening skills. - Strong analytical skills and ability to process and assimilate detailed information, understanding trends in the data and data anomalies. - Detail-oriented, a quick learner and self-motivated. - Extensive knowledge of Excel, Access, Visio, Word, and Powerpoint.
