Project Location:- *MA (LOCALS)* Duration:- 8+ Months Rate:- $ 65 per hr Job:- *Responsibilities:* Responsibilities: - Design, document, code, test and implement enhancements to a Thick Client Application solution using .NET 2.0 & 3.5, Windows Forms (WinForms) or WPF, C#.NET, ADO.NET, XML and SQL Server 2000 & 2008. - Object modeling, design and implementation. - Analyze requirements, write design documents, write automated unit tests and test plans. - Participate in all phases of the Systems Development Lifecycle. - Provide technical guidance and assistance to other staff members. *Requirements* Four - Six plus years related systems experience in application development with a proficiency in Visual Studio.NET. Must have experience with object oriented design and programming. Must have experience with C#.NET . Expertise with developing flexible .NET Thick Client applications using Windows Forms (WinForms) or WPF. Candidate should possess experience and expertise in designing user friendly UIs. Should be familiar with current trends and implementations in user interface design. Ability to work as part of a team or alone in all phases of the Systems Development Lifecycle. Candidate should have real world experience with object modeling techniques (i.e. Use Case, Class Diagramming, Sequence Diagramming). Candidate should have some understanding of design patterns. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills. Must have strong problem solving, technical and analytical skills. The following experience is highly desirable, but not required: SQL Server 2000 & 2008 and XML. Experience with MVC and Model-View/View-Model is preferred. Experience with development of User Controls, UI inheritance and use of third party UI controls such as Component One’s Flex Grid is a plus. Experience with WPF and WCF is also very desirable. Retail systems experience is a plus.
