Project Location:- Moosic, PA Duration:- 8+ months JOB Description:- Position requires strong Java/J2EE/Object Oriented experience with a solid understanding of major relational database concepts, i.e. tables, indexes, SQL, JDBC, etc. Current software architecture includes Java, JSPs, Servlets, JDBC, PL/SQL and Oracle running in both UNIX and Windows based environments. Technical Qualifications: • 5+ years of solid Java design, development and maintenance experience. • 3+ years of Object Oriented software design, development and maintenance experience. • 3+ years of solid J2EE experience. • 2+ years experience with PL/SQL including calling, writing, and debugging stored procedures and packages. • 2+ years experience working with web technologies including Java Script, JSP, Applet, Servlets and Struts. • Experience with version control systems in a team environment. Responsibilities • Responsible for the design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of one or more applications (SDLC); including creation and revision of all application documentation. These duties may be hands-on in a team environment. • Work independently with minimal supervision • Support multiple projects/tasks within assigned area. • Technical experience integrating support systems including ecommerce systems and data warehouses with Oracle ERP systems. • Possess proficient documentation skills. • Must be energetic, self motivated individual that possesses a drive for continuous process improvement. • Work closely with Client’s Corporate Functions, project management teams, and Enterprise Shared Services colleagues. • Work with and across divisions, geographies, and functions to implement and support new functionality and processes. • Ensure adherence to company policies, standards, and procedures.
