*Role: Network Architect *

*Location: Allen, TX*

*Duration: 3 to 6 months.*





*Job Description:*

In this role the selected Candidate's will *evolve Experian’s network and
security architecture by designing and deploying network solutions in an
E-commerce, Intranet, and Extranet enterprise-class environment*.

*Demonstrated design, planning, implementation, troubleshooting and
production support expertise, practices and strategies with experience* in
medium to large complex network infrastructure is required.
Proven ability in independently assessing very complex technical problems
and devising detailed action plans to resolution, overseeing their execution
by other engineers by collaboratively leading teams or working independently
to complete action plans will be essential to the chosen candidates success
in this position.
Drawing from an extensive knowledge of Cisco Internetworking (Routers,
Switches), Cisco IOS/CatOS, Frame-relay, ATM, ISDN, DLSW, VPN.
Also strong knowledge of *OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, QOS, SAA, VOIP, Call
Manager/Unity/IPCC, PAT/NAT, Access-lists, Load Balancers, IPSEC, and
Firewall knowledge (PIX, Nokia/CheckPoint)* the selected candidate will be
responsible for working with other team members in defining network
requirements, designing network solutions, implementation of network
solutions and documentation.

 *Skills Required:*

•Enterprise *experience in similar sized company with medium to large
complex network infrastructure*.
•Fundamental knowledge of *network security principles*
•Experience *designing, planning, and implementing complex changes in high
availability networks which have very limited scheduled down time*.
•Experience *working in a dynamic environment, balancing challenging
workloads and deadlines.
*•Experience *working with development groups to analyze proposed
application architectures and then determine impact of application
architecture on the enterprise network infrastructures to support the
implementation.
*•Experience *migrating applications between infrastructures with limited to
no scheduled down time.
*•Experience *building business cases and implementing proposed solutions:
Cisco Works, Unix (SUN preferably), Windows Operating System, Storage Area
Networks, Content Delivery Networks and web hosting.
*•*Unix background, proficiency with script automation and network tool
application support.*
•*Windows server background and network tool support*
•*5+ years networking architecture experience in a Cisco-based enterprise
environment.*
•Demonstrated skills in project management, with the ability to interact
effectively with both technical and non-technical personnel and customers.
•*CCNP, CCIE designation, or equivalent knowledge and experience.

*Skills Preferred *

Minimum *Years of Relevant Experience: 8+*

Other Comments to Vendors: These roles will be primarily working on US based
projects, however, it is possible that they will have to work on projects
out of country with multiple time zones. Due ot this, flexibility is
required for any submitted candidates.
The ''right'' candidates are going to be able to hit the ground running,
have strong technical design/planning skills, strong project interfacing
skill and bring order to chaos.
