**AND PLEASE REPLY ME ON [email protected]** *Project Name: Oracle DBA Location: Raleigh, NC* (Green Card or Citizen)* Length: 6 Month+ Our Client is looking for Oracle DBA consultant and MUST have Experience in large scale migrations from Solaris 10 to Linux using Oracle Transportable Tablespaces (TTS). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: • Oracle Database 10g - Migration from Solaris to Linux using Transportable Tablespaces • Oracle 10g RAC implementation with ASM • Installation, Patching and upgrades of Oracle Database. • Oracle Database and Applications security • Cloning Oracle Database • Oracle OEM 10g - Data Masking • Troubleshooting, Backup and recovery of Oracle Database • Performance tuning of Oracle Database • Disaster Recovery of Oracle Database • Capacity planning and management • Some Hardware infrastructure expertise • System documentation REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: This role is an extremely hands-on, as he/she will be the "go to" person for problem resolution. • Minimum of 10 years experience with Oracle Database Administrator - in a business environment including installing, upgrading and restoring/recovering databases (Oracle 9i, 10g). • Hands-on experience with Oracle Database Migration, Patching, Upgrades, admin utilities/console; and Cloning test and development environments from production environment. • Knowledge in underlying Oracle Applications database architecture - schemas/products, database objects, file system structure, tables, views, packages, procedures, functions, triggers, sequences, indexes, and constraints. • Experience with configuration, load balancing, backup/recovery, sizing and space management, PL/SQL tuning, diagnostics, and proficient with the use of Oracle's Enterprise Manager Tool. • Install and maintain all software components as required to run Oracle App Server - Listeners, Forms Server, Apps Server, Concurrent Managers etc. • Excellent trouble shooting abilities to identify root cause of production issues and resolve them quickly to maintain high availability. Experience opening, managing, and resolving Oracle SR's is a must. • Demonstrated experience with project management methodologies, analysis and cost controls. Strong interpersonal, communication, and client-facing skills.
