Role Description: *GATP Principal or Architect* Requested Days: 2 months Role Location: Texas, Scope of Tasks: *Principal SCM consultant* or architect with *strong GATP* experience to work with customer initially as follow up to Active Global Support solution review to implement changes recommended by the review team. Customer IT team is not meeting end-to-end service level agreements in backorder processing. Customer is in a high tech contract manufacturing scenario where they currently do nightly full loads of partner inventory and planned receipts for components directly into APO prior to running backorder processing. Client also developed custom BW reports for exception management after running backorder processing. Consultant/Architect will make recommendations, develop specifications, and help to test alternatives for net change updates to APO supplies, and backorder processing alerts to eliminate the custom BW reports. The overall first phase goal is to help the IT team meet end-to-end service level agreements. Resource needs to be able to look at this from a functional as well as a technical perspective and have the ability to communicate with business users and IT staff. Project locations: Weeks 1, 2, 4, and 5-Houston, TX, weeks 3 and 6-Grenoble, France.
