Position : J2ee Build release engineer It is located in ME. Duration: 6 months Rate : Competitive We are looking for a* J2EE build and release engineer* for an enterprise class package implementation. - Must have experience with J2EE technologies and a solid understanding of build and release management principles. - Will be responsible for creating build and release processes and providing predictable, repeatable and reliable application deployments across numerous development and test environments including appropriate rollback provisions. Primary Responsibilities: - Create and maintain build, deployment and rollback scripts/tools - Execute scheduled application builds and deployments - Provide support for production environment configuration issues - Create and maintain standardized release documentation - Provide support to development groups for release configuration issues SKILLS REQUIRED: - SUSE Linux - Java/J2EE - MKS – source code management - IBM MQ series - Oracle DESIRED: - XML - Experience with a cross platform installer like InstallAnywhere or InstallBuilder or similar. - TOAD - XML Spy - QC automated testing - QC Defect tracking - Apache Tomcat Other Qualifications: - Bachelor of Science in computer science or related discipline - Full project lifecycle experience on 2 or more large J2EE projects - Release management experience for 2 years - Experience with Linux system for 2 years - Excellent attention to detail - Strong communication skills, verbal and written - Must exude a positive, can-do attitude - Strong team player Bonus if you have: - Masters of Science in computer science or related discipline - Specialized training or courses beyond college - Java certification - Experience with the Provenir platform If you are qualified, available, interested, planning to make a change, or know of a friend who might have the required qualifications and interest, please call me ASAP at (732) 659-1269, even if we have spoken recently about a different position.
