Start: ASAP Rate: 35-40/hr JAVA Developer We are looking for software developer for at least 3 years or a more Senior level, if possible. Need strong Java developer. Should be able to explain how and where various technologies mentioned here have been utilized like "IBM Web Application Server", "Spring", "Hibernate" etc. Job Summary: The Software Developer will be responsible for developing software applications and ad hoc reports to help the Company meet its business objectives. They will be responsible for development, testing, implementation, support and documentation of the software they develop as well as enhance existing software applications and support them. The Software Developer will interact daily with their manager to prioritize tasks, review status, and coordinate deployments. Major Responsibilities: . Develop and support stand alone and web based software applications, ad hoc reports and utility applications to support the company's operations . Design and develop miscellaneous software applications to support business needs . Requires daily contact and interaction with the Project Manager to integrate software, prioritize assignments and provide progress reports. . There may be interaction with other internal personnel to define and clarify requirements and objectives. Requirements: The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills and expertise: . 2 years experience in Java, SQL and web based programming . Understanding of software development life cycle methodologies and Object Oriented principles . Working expertise with Java, J2EE, XML, HTML and JavaScript and related web technologies . Hands-on experience with relational database management systems like MySQL . Experience in frameworks such as JSF, Ajax, Spring, Hibernate, Struts, etc. . Experience in Application Server technologies (JBoss, Tomcat, etc) . Working knowledge of Unix/Linux environments, along with capability to use scripting languages (shell scripts, awk) for automation and programming tasks . Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office applications . Capacity to work in a team environment or function independently under tight deadlines .
