Position:  Citrix Engineer (must have Citrix Password Manager)

 

Summary: 

This position is responsible for managing the organization's Citrix Xen App
Systems and associated applications. This includes installing, configuring,
patching, upgrading, and maintaining the companies' investment in
proprietary Citrix technologies. The role is also responsible for the
implementation and support of the Citrix products necessary for business
operations.

Responsibilities: 

.         Provide the necessary skills to drive client device (e.g.,
desktop, laptop, and peripheral devices) technology solutions by weighing
advantages of technology standards, availability of products, and the risks
and benefits of technology 

.         Evaluate, design, install, configure, deploy, document, and
maintain the Citrix Xen application environment at a global level 

.         Provide enterprise-wide level 3 technical support for all Citrix
and client technologies related issues 

.         Provide technical expertise and advice to IT Leadership/Management
in the development of information technology solutions to support the
business strategies 

.         Assist in the design and development of enterprise-wide client
device architecture and strategy in alignment with business needs 

.         Maintain awareness of trends and issues in the area of client
technologies; evaluate new technology opportunities and provide analysis to
support business strategies

Requirements: 

.         Bachelor's degree in Information Systems preferred and/or 4 to 7
years of hands on experience with Citrix Xen technologies including but not
limited to the following: Xen Server, Xen App, Xen Desktop, Provisioning
Server, Citrix Access Gateway, WAN-Scaler, Application Streaming, Password
Manager, and EdgeSight 

.         Experience with windows scripting tools 

.         3-5 years experience with client side technologies in a complex
organization including planning, development, and deployment/roll out
support 

.         In-depth knowledge of technical infrastructures and operations 

.         Comprehensive understanding of change management techniques 

.         Experience with Microsoft's core infrastructure technologies 

.         Technical understanding in an array of technologies and their use
such as: Current and pending Microsoft Windows operating systems knowledge,
Microsoft Desktop, Active Directory, Group Policy Objects and OU Management,
Microsoft Office Products, and SharePoint
