Details:

 

Need a .net architect (3.5/4.0) with at least 4 years experience.  MUST HAVE
EXCELLENT WRITTEN AND VERBAL COMMUNICATION.. leadership role.

 

Has to be a Microsoft .Net Solutions Architect professional that will be
responsible for architecture, development of new application. This is a
technical role that requires strong .NET experience and technical
leadership.

 

 Responsibilities:

*       Define the Architecture for new applications being developed and
major enhancements to existing applications. 
*       Present architecture or design solutions to a wide audience
including project development team members, application and infrastructure
architects and management staff. 
*       Interact with business area, Sr. IT managers, technical managers,
project managers and other technical staff to ensure proper communication of
the architecture solution to stakeholders. 
*       Hands on development for executing Proofs-of-concept and initial
project iterations. 
*       Work closely on a continuous basis with development teams to ensure
compliance with architecture and design principals. 
*       Identify common business components and services and promote its use
across the enterprise. 
*       Maintain awareness of industry changes in technology standards,
information management, development standards, methods and emerging 3rd
party software and determine how they can be utilized and applied to the
core application architecture. 
*       Provide thought leadership and guidance to solve technical and
business problems. 
*       Actively promote adoption of practices and technologies that
enhances the quality of software and solutions provided by the IT
organization. 
*       Architect solutions to meet business requirements and ensure that
they follow the application architecture and other guidelines.
*       Participate actively during all phases of the Software Development
Lifecycle of multiple projects in parallel, and ensure that project
deliverables are met in time and with excellent quality. 
*       Conduct formal and informal training, presentations and mentoring of
Architects and development staff. 

 

Qualifications:

*       Candidate must have a BS and/or MS in computer science or equivalent
experience.       
*       Certification preferred. 
*       Insurance experience preferred. 
*       10+ years overall IT experience with Microsoft technologies, 5+
years experience in a similar role using MS.NET 
*       Proven experience estimating, planning, designing, and implementing
n-tier software architectures and solutions. 
*       IT experience in some combination of application architectures,
software development and infrastructure, systems integration, package
implementation, and interaction design. 
*       Solid knowledge of Industry Standards, Frameworks, and Design
Patterns. 
*       Experience with interaction design, web technologies, and web
service solutions. 
*       Extensive background in .Net framework with an emphasis on versions
2.0 to 4.0. 
*       Solid experience in relational database design and modeling and
SQL/DML. 
*       Experience with the full SDLC lifecycle.
