Position: C# ASP.NET Web Programmer
Location: Asbury Park, NJ Duration: 6 months contract OR contract to hire, client is open to either option Start: ASAP (next week) RATE: 35-40/hr Summary: Must have 3-5 years experience working in C# ASP.NET environment, SQL Server 2005/2008, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX and HTML. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in object oriented design principles and the ability to understand business requirements. The ability to participate in design and architecture phase of project development is essential. Primary responsibilities include: Architect a diverse range of web applications for multiple clients while working closely with project managers to develop project plans, cost estimates and project timelines. Evaluate existing legacy systems, define appropriate application architecture and technology, engineer technical designs, and provide estimates for reengineering these applications. Provide general technical expertise in the areas of systems, applications and database design, development and implementation for projects utilizing .NET technologies Core Skills: . ASP.NET . C#, .NET Framework 3.5/4.0 . IIS 6.0/7.0 . CSS . AJAX . JQuery . SQL Server 2005/2008 . JavaScript . HTML Desirable Skills: Experience in any of the following: PHP, CGI, JSP, ColdFusion, Action Script Additional responsibilities: Maintenance of DNS and VPN server, workstation installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of both hardware and software, network administration and maintaining inventory of hardware and software.
